I have been on the road for the past two weeks, visiting these two very beautiful islands, which happen to be on exact opposite parts of Greece……
Cefalonia being situated on the far west borders of Greece, while Chios (on the far east) adjacent to Turkey.
I have to admit that the two islands do have some huge differences and carry their own scars….(The Genocide that the Turks conducted on the island of Chios).
The core still remains very much Greek though, both island have a long history/tradition of seafarers and trade, from London to China.
